Wie Shoots 80 for 0-8
Michelle Wie's latest attempt to make a cut in a PGA Tour event ended with rounds of 73-80 at the Legends Reno-Tahoe Open, marking the eighth time she is MC in a men's tour event. Message to Michelle: Enough already; hang it up; end the fantasy that you can play with the big boys. She missed the cut by eight shots in an event that included such "legends" as Guy Boros, Lance Ten Broeck (who most recently has been a caddie), Barry Jaekel, Scott Gump and Spike McRoy.

Why is she still playing? Seems like we should focus our attention more on the folks who are actually decent players, Paula Creamer, among them. BTW, don't forget today's Silly Sunday Sweepstakes!! I've got a SWEET snap for you to caption!
The field also included Tim 'lumpy from too many brews & cheeseburgers' Herron. Headed for a top 25, Lumpy limped in with a final-round 74. The story line could be how he is double-cheeseburgering his way out of the Top 125. The first time Wie makes a cut she will be paired with Lumpy on Saturday television. I like Lumpy though, his BMI is about the same as mine.
