Norman Passes on PGA

Greg Norman, who failed in his attempt to win the British Open two weeks ago, has decided not to accept an invitation to play in the PGA Championship next week. Darn. We wanted to see if he could lose another major like he did at the PGA in 1986 when Bob Tway holed a bunker shot to beat him.

Hitting range balls while wondering whatever happened to Dudley Wysong.

Mr. Fairway:

Whadda ya think about Phil's finish yesterday at ol' Firestone? Like to see you write about Phil Follies as well as Shark Shankes.

Greg Norman rocks. Who else could pick up the game after years of very little play and finish third in the Open and fifth in the Senior Open? He inspired me and, most likely, many others with his superb play at age 53. He is a wonderful shot maker. Did you see the 5 iron from 125 yards that flew no more than 20 feet high, took a bounce and checked?
